We intive novel and high-quality papers published in the 2015 International Conference on Data Science, ICDS 2015, for a special issue of Springer Annals of Data Science (AoDS). ICDS 2015 held its 2nd meeting at the University of Technology Sydney on August 8–9, 2015, in co-location with the 21st ACM SIGKDD Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, held on August 10–13 in Sydney. This year's ICDS conference accepted 24 papers divided into five oral sessions and one poster and reception session.
We invite eight papers that previously presented in the conference. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed following the same model and rigorous review process as AoDS's regular track. All submitted manuscripts must be written in English and contain at least 30% new material of the conference paper.

All papers will be peer-reviewed by at least three independent reviewers.

Submitted papers must not substantially overlap papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Papers should be less than eight pages including the bibliography and well-marked appendices. Papers must be received by the submission deadline through EasyChair http://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icds2015
Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that their papers will be presented at the conference. Selected best papers will be published in special issues of high quality journals (Int. J. of Information Technology and Decision Making, Annals of Data Science).
